PLAY & RON ZURICH LOOK BOOK:
THE ESSENTIAL LIST. A GUIDE TO ZURICH’S NOW&WOW UNIFORMS.

What do they wear on the street in Zurich? And is it as bad as everybody says? To find out I teamed up with my supercool friend Ron who runs the best city newsletter and also happens to be the biggest party animal in town. Between February and April 09 we went on extensive style-hunts across the Bermuda-Triangle of Bahnhofstrasse shopping mile, Bellevue and trendy district Kreis 4.

We selected the most on-trend and defining city looks and put them into the first ever Zurich Look Book. The Essential List documents this spring’s de rigueur uniforms for the young, hip, urban crowd. Plus what is hot and next, such as Burlesque. And we reveal this city’s most overlooked trendsetters: urban daddies and their always perfectly styled offspring.

So yes, the big fashion trends are set elsewhere. But nobody else loves foulards as much as we do. Heidi-chic is the next big thing. And all young Zurich men wear at least hipster stubble. Despite what they say about us, Zurich most definitely is not that bad. Always remember: the outs of today are the ins of tomorrow.

   boah, wenn foulards, stoffeinkaufstaschen und schwarze krawatte die trendsetter des zürcher frühlings sind, dann wird das ja ganz schön trist… aber das scheint wohl schon der ewige trend in zürich zu sein: man setzt keine trends, sondern sucht sich ganz basisdemokratisch das mittel aller modetendenzen raus und kreiert den ultimativen einheitsbrei – das nennt man dann wohl die zürcheruniform.

   nicht schlecht nicht schlecht. die personen, welche ich bisher abgelichtet habe, scheinen dir nicht über den weg geloffen zu sein.
